Relational Covenant:

We are called to be Christ-like in our journey together. As the Apostle Paul encouraged the church in Philippi our Lord calls us to focus our thoughts and actions as well.

"Finally, brother, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." (Phillipians 4:8-9)

In obedience to God's call, we are committed to the following:

  • We will glorify God in all we say and do. (1 Peter 4:11)
  • We will be faithful in prayer for one another. (Galatians 6:2, James 5:16)
  • We will treat others as God treats us, with forgiveness, patience, and love. (Matthew 7:12)
  • We will build each other up in all we say and do. (1 Thessalonian 5:11)
  • We communicate openly and honestly in love. (Exodus 20:16)
  • We will respect confidences. Those items shared in private will remain in private. (Proverbs 11:12-13)
  • We will seek to understand, as well as to be understood. (proverbs 18:13, James 1:19)
  • We will go directly to the person(s) involved when we have questions or concerns. (Matthew 18:15-17)
