Communion Volunteers

staff vacation & Office Hours

Greeters - We could use 1 volunteer for 5th Sunday's and to cover if there is a vacation.

Ushers - We don't currently have anyone signed up for this area. If you have been helping out the past few months, would you check out the sign-up sheet and put down the Sunday that works the best?
There are currently two families on the list to serve communion on the first Sundays of the month. It take four people to serve communion. If we could get a few more people signed up in this area it would allow us to rotate so the same people don't always have to serve. Click the button below to let Nicole you can help or sign-up in the Welcome Center.
Pastor Steve will be on vacation June 27th and will be returning on July 7th. Please contact Nicole with any office need or Mike with any pastoral needs. The CCC office will be closed on Monday, July 6th in observance of 4th of July being on a Saturday.

The Rescue Life Nepali church that meets at CCC is having a backpack & school supply event on July 26th in the parking lot. We have some backpacks left over from our event last year that we are donating. We'd like to bless their ministry by collecting school supplies and lightly used or new backpacks.

The Delps

Ecuador
"We are collaborating with the Covenant Church of
Ecuador to help start medical clinics and homes
for at-risk children. The home and clinic we have
in Cayambe are compassion/outreach ministries
of the Covenant Church of Ecuador at both the
national and local levels. We are committed to
helping children in at-risk situations (i.e., abusive
homes, neglected children, children of alcoholics,
children freed from human trafficking situations,
etc.). We also feel called to connect and share the
love of Jesus with the families of these children in
holistic ministries and to serve as an outreach to
the community through medicine. We are passionate
about sharing Christ and meeting people where they
are, even if that is amid tragedy and hurt. We want
to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the least of
these."

The Wickstroms

Congo
"My calling as a liaison between the Covenant
churches in North America and Congo is to
reinforce the relationship between those Covenant
communities by representing the church in Congo
while in North America and the church in North
America while in Congo. In the US, my time is
spent facilitating travel, visiting churches, and
advising both American and Congolese churches.
In Congo, I spend time listening and being
present throughout the CEUM territory and I walk
alongside church leaders as they navigate changing
relationships with the North American church."

Asia
"In partnership with the Taiwanese Evangelical Covenant Church, our roles are to work together to strengthen and support the local churches' ministries. In collaboration with the local churches, we hope we can further evangelism and missions to the unreached people in Taiwan and, if possible, other countries."

KICY Radio

Alaska
KICY broadcasts from Nome, Alaska and is owned by Arctic Broadcasting Association, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit, affiliated corporation of the Evangelical Covenant Church. KICY serves native Alaskan villages throughout the Seward Peninsula, Yukon & Kuskokwim Deltas and the Russian regions of Chukotka, Kamchatka and Siberia. Most of our annual operating budget comes from churches and individual donations. Our staff is comprised of full-time and part-time volunteers.
Since we first signed-on Easter Sunday, April 17 of 1960, KICY has continued to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ throughout Western Alaska and the Russian Far East. We have increased our power to 50,000 watts, 24 hours a day which allows KICY AM 850 the opportunity to send the gospel into some places where other forms of media are not readily available. We operate two distinct radio stations, KICY AM-850 & ICY 100.3 FM. While the AM station broadcasts at 50,000 watts and can be heard throughout the entire region, our FM station is programmed for and serves the City of Nome and surrounding communities.
